Gorgeous couple Kathryn & Steph had their big day planned for 2020, however in February this year (2019) they had a "stuff it" moment and celebrated their big day early. With no specific theme in mind, they simply wanted the wedding to feel modern and low-key. Just divine! By holding a cocktail style reception, all the guests could easily move about and meet each other. In terms of lovely Steph's wedding gown, she always had a clear idea of what she wanted but didn't quite know where to start. That's where we could help! She discovered us on Instagram and decided to book in a personalised appointment. The first dress she tried (our beautiful Eastwood Gown) on was the one!
"Steph fell in love with it instantly it was everything she wanted and more. We didn’t bother going to any other stores after we went to WFML - Steph’s mind was made up." Next came the gorgeous Kathryn who found a tailor to make a suit to her measurements. It was made from an ultra-feminine fabric that tied in perfectly with Steph's gown. The couple wrote this beautiful message about our team here at WFML: "Vanessa was perfect, we both felt super comfortable in the decision making process. She was approachable, down-to-earth and was very invested in making sure that there wasn’t so much as a thread loose." 
We loved having you ladies grace our studio - it was great getting to know you and have the opportunity to play a part in your big day. And finally, Steph leaves some diamonds of advice for those brides in the midst of finding "The Dress" and putting the wedding day together:
- Take someone along when you are trying on gowns who knows you well and knows your style. Don’t bring too many people though! Sometimes other people tend to cloud your judgement and it makes the process much more stressful than it needs to be.
- At the end of the day listen to your own voice and opinions, gut feelings had a lot to do with our process.
- It’s easier said than done, but enjoy the process! At the end of the day everything will work out. If you run into a problem there is always a solution. And don’t be afraid to ask your friends for help! They love to be involved.
