WFML Real Bride: Rebecca - Bespoke Wedding Gown Design Brisbane

Posted by on

In light of the world’s devastations, the beautiful bride Rebecca and partner Ross were bound to not put their love on pause. Ten plus years together could prove their kindred spirits, nonetheless such timing posed for the unexpected, a wedding in the year to remember; the year of COVID-19! With restrictions emplaced Rebecca was left with the decision to strip back her expectations; a ceremony overflowing with loved ones and instead embrace an intimate occasion surrounded by those closest to the couple. Opting for a traditional wedding theme the couple complimented the classic with tones of contemporary to create a simplistic yet beautified style. It came naturally to Ross, with him being a Horticulturist to incorporate plenty of greenery which added a personal touch to the scene. Despite the day differing from the original plan, there was no predicting just how perfect it would be. “Everything was a dream and I couldn’t be happier!” Even more so, Rebecca and Ross have decided to relive the dream once more, this time to be shared with those beautiful people who couldn’t be apart of the special occasion the first time.

The dream dress for Rebecca was never an entity she could envision, so when encountering the WFML ladies, the diversifying yet classical designs allowed her to navigate a gown perfect for her. After trying 5 different dresses Rebecca finally found the one, the Ella Louisa gown instantly captured her heart. The blush/peach tones of the gown complemented her fair complexion rather than taking away from her natural beauty. The personalised experience offered at WFML allowed for a play of the design through adjustments of the neckline and comparing sleeves against the dress. Finally, upon the advice of Vanessa the sleeve style was decided against. “I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful it looked. I was so happy with how it turned out after our slight change to the top. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole process was such an amazing experience, I loved every minute.”

The gown “made me feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt! Ross loved it too and that made me feel so happy in my choice. I was so comfortable the whole time wearing my dress and didn’t want to take it off. I adore looking at my photos already and can’t believe how lucky I was to have such an incredible gown. Everyone has constantly commented on how stunning my dress was!”

Ross chose his suit himself, a classic look which Rebecca felt fit together seamlessly against her dress. A perfect match.

When we asked Rebecca if she had any tips for future brides she stated, “to try a few styles to get a feel for what you do/don’t like or what feels best to suits your style or figure. Trust your instincts and ensure you feel comfortable.”

Congratulations Rebecca & Ross, and thank you for sharing your bridal story with us!
