Beautiful Emily married the love of her life at a gorgeous wedding earlier this year. The couple tied the knot at the Sandstone Point Hotel and although they had to employ the pre-prepared 'wet-weather plan', it ended up being better than they could have ever imagined. Everything ended up being perfectly timed - there were no issues that arose due to covid, everyone who was invited was able to come and the back-up plan of holding the wedding in Emily's parents backyard did not have to be utilised! How wonderful!
Emily's wonderful sister-in-law took the initiative to book her an appointment with us to get the wedding gown planning in the works! And we are so glad she did. When looking through our racks of beautifully made wedding gowns, Emily asked her SIL to hold a dress as it was quite heavy - then when she held it, the most perfect silhouette fell into place and it was love at first sight! Our wonderful team were able to bring this vision to life by adding a few customisations to the gown. After a very successful first bridal appointment, Emily's mum encouraged her to go and try a few more 'off-the-rack' dresses just to be sure. After not finding anything nearly as beautiful, as all the ones they saw were the same gaudy strapless, poofy numbers, Emily knew she had to go with her dream dress here at WFML!
When we asked Emily about her experience with us, we were humbled to read these words: "My dress made me feel magical and special and beautiful. The girls were amazing, not judgmental, and made me feel like I was a beautiful bride even though the dresses to try on were to small the made sure I had the full bridal experience" and that is everything we could ask for! Emily also shared a brilliant piece of advice for other brides going through all the wedding planning processes at the moment "Don’t listen to what others want to see you in wear what makes you feel special and beautiful it’s about you not them."
