WFML REAL BRIDE: MICHELLE

Posted by on

Our stunning Blushing Bride Michelle and husband Daniel are celebrating their 1 year anniversary! The couple had been together for a little over 6 years and were engaged for 5 and a half of those years. The unwavering love and commitment these two people hold for each other is something to be admired and represents the honour we make to the one we love.

For Michelle and Daniel, they were married at Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender farm. The couple chose a butterfly theme for their day, in recognition of Daniel’s daughter who passed away. “I love butterflies and I even had them embroidered into my gown, as well as holding a butterfly release. It was just an extra step to honour her on the day.” It was a somewhat intimate wedding, with 46 guests and we loved every minute of being surrounded by our friends and families!

On the day, everything ran smoothly, apart from guests thinking my husband wasn’t showing up due to an impromptu KFC stop on the way. Covid had already delayed our wedding once so we were more than ready to tie the knot. Our new date was perfect and there were little to no restrictions.

As for my gown, “all I knew was that I wanted butterflies on my dress, in all different sizes and placements. I was so delighted that When Freddie Met Lilly was able to custom make the gown and add what I wanted. It made the whole process a lot easier and less stressful. I tried around 10 different gowns between 3 different places and WFML was the last place we visited.

My dress made me feel beautiful. I loved every detail and the girls at WFML helped bring my vision to life. One of my friends even thought I looked like Elsa! Plus, the dress fit perfectly with the venue and our theme!

Daniel tried on a few different suits and settled on one, but a month out, got a new one as the original no longer fit. My gown and his suit complimented each other perfectly.

The girls at WFML and my experience there were both amazing. They helped turn a very hectic time in my life into a somewhat easier process. Afterall, they designed the dress I wanted and took all my ideas into consideration.

My recommendation to future brides is to get a custom gown. It ensures you get exactly what you want and that you can make small adjustments or change your mind. But mainly, just live in the moment. It goes by so fast and we wish we could live through those magical moments again.

We cannot begin to describe our elation for this amazing couple and we hope to hear of many more anniversaries in the future!.
