Australian Bridal Fashion Week

australian-bridal-fashion-week Australian Bridal Fashion Week (ABFW) is the first event of its kind for the Australian wedding market. Launched in 2015 by Weddings and Events of Australia (WEOA), the support body for elite businesses in the Australian wedding market, the inaugural ABFW finally gave Australian bridal couture designers a forum to showcase their new collections to brides and bridal gown retailers.

In June 2016, Australian Bridal Fashion Week is coming back, bigger and better than ever before and When Freddie met Lilly are making their debut on the runway!

When Freddie met Lilly’s new collection, Indianna, will be launched at Australian Bridal Fashion Week. The 24 piece collection featured stunning European laces and silks in romantic silhouettes that show off a woman’s beauty and elegance.

The event will start on Friday 24th with the runway shows and trade event where International and Australian buyers and members of the media will have access to a selection of the world’s most talented bridal designers including LUOM.O, Inbal Dror, Shane McConnell Couture, Catherine R Couture, Nomiki Glynatsis and many more. Boasting a 40 metre runway, Australian Bridal Fashion Week will showcase a beautiful selection of couture gowns with the chance for brides to access the designers on site after the show.

For the first time, Australian Bridal Fashion Week will also host a Bridal Shopping Day on Saturday 25th for brides-to-be, wedding vendors and fashionistas alike. The consumer day will have plenty of entertainment for everyone including champagne and whiskey bars, a pamper room featuring nails, lashes and make up and a selection of the most fashion forward shoe, accessory and gown designers with pop up shops.

The event will be held in the iconic Australian Technology Park, Eveleigh.
